Short Description: This blog talks about how heat affects humans, which is, of course, what makes a particular heat event "dangerous to people." There is a role of both chronic heat and extreme heat. Chronic heat impacts those who are confined to buildings and have difficulty cooling themselves. Extreme heat impacts, more strongly, those who are active.
